ePER users- I have a question.
Discussion
For those of you familiar with Fiat's ePER online parts system thing; I'm wondering, does anybody know if there's an easy way to search for the original part number for a remanufactured part?
For things like flywheels, alternators and starters, they tend to have 3 part numbers. There'll be the usual one on the left when you're in the applications screen but on the right there'll sometimes be 2 other part numbers with one above the other. The top one is the remanufactured part number and the one below that I believe is the scrap part number.
If you type the part number of a remanufactured part into the main search box on the home screen, it'll tell you what it is and the price, etc. but it won't give you the applications list.
Here's an example part number that I can't find the applications for: 71721092
If I knew the original new part part number it would be easy to find out what the remanufactured part is for. I just can't figure out how to search for it.
I hope the above makes sense.

could you please let us know !
yes, it's actually pretty simple, just sort of hidden away from the main functions. You just need to go to the 'search' drop down menu at the top (of some pages, not all) and select 'remanufactured products'. You then have a menu with 3 rows. Stick the number into the right hand column of the middle row and it will return the new part number if it exists. As ePER doesn't have all the classic models of Fiat this means a lot of these searches won't come up with anything if it's for a particularly old car like the Argenta, 131 or 127. Please let me know if there's a version of ePER out there with these old models as it would be most useful to myself and a few other classic Fiat/Lancia enthusiasts.Gassing Station | Alfa Romeo, Fiat & Lancia | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
