firming up my 996, advice please
Discussion
After a year of driving my 996 I would like to make some slight improvements. The main area is a bit stiffer ride, I find it a bit loose on the standard suspension.
I dont want to go mad and get a track type suspension but would like a bit more firm ride without killing the ride.
advice on please and an idea of prices?
Also, will a minor tweek like that kill my war.?

I have tech art springs fitted o my old 996. Dropped it 30 mm and were 30% uprated in stiffness. The difference was perfect for me at the time.
cost £800 fitted by an opc including whell alignment after. (was 3 years ago though)
On track, there was much less body roll and felt flatter , but it was still nice and supple on the road.
SPeed bumps werent too bad either.

...in my opinion it's probably best to upgrade to a well matched set of springs/dampers, rather then just springs.
I've got the 'Porsche Sports suspension' on my 996 C4 (which I had fitted after purchase by an OPC). It's quite expensive (approx £1,100 fitted I think) but the best compromise for ride/handling off the track.
Drops the car about 10mm and doesn't affect the warranty as it's OEM!
