Xbox 360 headset to Xbox one S

As above is there a reasonably priced adapter that will save me the expense of a new headset for Xbox one S?

I have a Microsoft one. It works, but it wasn't reasonably priced.

New controllers have a standard 3.5mm jack. I don't know if it drives a mic as well

Ive plugged my sons Beats headphones into the Xbone controller and whilst they work they are very quiet even with game volume full up.

Would proper gaming headphones go louder?

Maybe not enough info in the OP. We have a gaming headset for the 360. The plug is different. I'm looking for an adapter.

I have AKG Y50's, they were £50 and are amazing. The previous Polk ones were awful.
