Hi there

My twins are 12 in a couple of weeks and I want to buy then a couple of mountain bikes that will last.

My local bike shop has recommended these for £300 each and they have offered to customise them slightly so they don't look the same!

I bought my 13 year old one of these at Christmas for £270 which he's really pleased with:

I was tempted with a couple of these but they only come in 18" frames and I need 16" maximum:

Has anybody heard of the adventure range and are they any good? If you've seen any other deals I'd be really grateful for any help!

The one you listed is 29" wheels which will be too much for 12 year olds, ideally 26" wheels size at that age though these are provimg more difficult to find.

Also remember if you buy from halfords take out a cheap british cycling membership and get a further 10% discount
