Went to start the Griff today it spluttered and coughed and the battery died , so put it back on the trickle charger for a few hours and after a struggle she fired up and started albeit a little rough , took it out and got up to temp and all is well ? Last weekend left it outside all day in the damp cold weather but it started fine to be put back in the garage.
The last time this happened was the day I picked it up when I bought it 5 yrs ago , my mate I was with couldn't believe I bought it after that !
Any ideas ?

If the battery is unexpectedly going flat check the plastic button at the base of each door is still there. It presses against the door light switch to turn the lights off. If it is missing the lights will remain on and drain the battery. Even if they are turned off internally the light relay is still activated.
