I've been living abroad for several years but am now back in the UK. With a serious case of 'itchy-feet' I find myself more inclined and comfortable driving long-distances for long hours, to sitting at a desk or working within the UK at all. Personally, the more time I can spend on the road, the better.

I'm looking for work driving vans/utility/delivery vehicles across Europe. Does anyone know how to find work within this field?
I currently do not possess any HGV licence, but have experience in utility vehicles and vans from living abroad.
I consider myself a confident and safe driver and have language proficiency in Polish, Spanish, and basic French.

It's difficult to find jobs advertised as such online so was looking to PistonHeads for some experience.

Do let me know if anyone has any contacts or advice. Much appreciated.

My uncle had a bit of a midlife crisis/breakdown, left his wife, family and well paid position as a director in a successful family business to pick grapes and oranges with the Gypsies in Southern France and Spain. Other jobs included poolboy, cleaner and general odd-job man for expats living in Southern Spain.

A job he also had that I have a feeling you would fancy was picking up and delivering hire-cars all over Europe. Think of all the multinational one way hires where cars ended up the the wrong country and needed repatriated and you will see the need. Never mind vans, you'll be swanning about Europe in a multitude of decent and semi decent cars.

Haven't a clue how he got into it but worth a bit of research if that's the career you're looking for.
