I know there have been a couple of topics on here about the sound of current F1 engines. I love the sound they make in the flesh but others dont. Agree to disagree.
However, next year they will be using the new V8s, has anyone heard these yet? Maybe someone may work on the testing side?
I would love to hear a sound byte.

Reducing he capacity and losing 2 cylinders won't make much difference.

Presumably they will be high revving flat-plane V8's, so we can expect them to scream rather than burble...

think ferrari V8's (355/360)

Shouldn't sound too different from what they do currently as they'll still be high revving, probably with more bhp/litre
