I see there's a new buyers guide on the front page:

Feel free to contribute to a thread that will be read by many PHers who don't venture here normally.
Had a good read and seems to be very accurate, covering most common things.
It doesn't cover everything in detail, like carbon canister / immobiliser & battery snags / 100A fuse etc. that's what this area is for.
And it didn't mention what a b
h of a job it is if your door mirrors need to come off, alone or with help!
