Buying a new but damaged in transit car

Anyone done this? There's a company selling brand new unregistered cars that have varying amounts of damage. None of them look too bad, it's unrecorded and the prices seem sensible so I'm kind of thinking about one..
Just wondering if I've missed some pitfall or other

Are they sold on the basis that the buyer repairs them themselves? There may be issues with CAT C/D markers
