Felt F3 2012 for £400? Advice...

Been offered the above bike for 400... Needs a new front wheel but other in very good condition... It's the model with SRAM Red.

I know the owner so no concerns there but am struggling to find any info about these bikes...

Looks OK if you know the owner and it's not been damaged, if they are original components, things like chain rings etc may be wearing out now though of the bike is well used

So it's a good deal / bit of kit?

I've been using my battered Merida Scultura 901 for the last few years but don't know anything about bikes / what's good or not.

Provided the frame isn't damaged it's very good price. If you add a decent set of wheels you'll have a hell of a lot of bike for the money. Presumably it's the correct size.

Even if the components are worn and needs a complete overhaul I'd still go for it.
