Odd week for me

Interviewed an auschwitz survivor today for the beeb. Very interesting guy, not exactly stories that you'd want to pass around, but I have immeasurable respect for somebody who can survive for 18 months in such a hellhole, and still raise a smile for the camera. He still had his tattoo - to him it was something to be proud of, to show people proof that the holocaust actually happened.
On Wednesday, on a completely different programme, I'm filming Harry Hill, a 90-odd year old cyclist who is getting some award from Bucks Palace, to do with the olympic centenary. He shook hands with Hitler in the 36 olympics!
What an odd coincidence.
