Hi guys, got a Cannondale F29 Carbon 4 2015 that I'm about to put for sale, only done 20 or so road miles on it so it's like new. RRP was £1399 or there abouts, any idea what it's worth or what I should be advertising it for? It's the first bike I've ever sold and I'm stuck with where to start? I'm thinking gumtree and pink bike as few places to sell. Any others worth trying? Thank you!

one sold for just over a grand about a month ago on ebay.

gumtree works takes longer thou. ebay will cost you more in fees. bike radar is worth a shout.

Singletrackworld is good for selling, Bikeradar is ok but more muppets ime.

eBay gives the biggest audience, I advertise on there and try to get buyers to contact me direct - don't mind paying to sell something but charging £100+ selling fees is nuts.

Ebay: Set a reserve or a starting bid upu would be happy for it to end on

Write a detailed honest description

Loads of good photos

State cash on collection only

Be prepared for some honest enquiries and a fair few idiot enquiries

You might have to list it a few times

Might be worth waiting a few months as now is a rubbish time of year to sell

I sold mine on BikeRadar. Took a couple of weeks.

I'd have probably sold it quicker and for more money on ebay but I'm not a fan of selling high value items on there. Most of the people buying and selling on BikeRadar have been on there for a while - posting, buying, selling etc and you get a feel for trustworthiness.
