TVR Power Exhaust?
Discussion
Hi Mr F
I did not like to mention it on here but the Tuscan is no more!! Comeing off a roundabout local to me just dawdling in second behind a slow lorry I put my foot down to pass it and the throttle got stuck open, spun me round and straight down a ditch at full throttle.Car was obliterated, roof, boot, bonnet, rear screen blew off and the rest was a total mess, righten off by the insurance now have the settlement and decided to go for a late as possible T350.
Anyway is your one in your profile my new one then?
Any info on it would be nice.
Thanks.
Pete.

Lobbs,
I actually took the old one off and the diffuser, heat shield etc...the night before the new one arrived, like a kid in a sweet shop. This took about 20 mins.
Took about 20 mins to put new ones back on, but when i came to fit the diffuser i noticed that the right side box was touching the diffuser, had to re position a little, was a bit of a faff, particulary if you are a perfectionist like me. Ok now though, oh and what a noise, YIIPPPPEEEEEEEEEE
Have since made a stainless heat shield to go with it, looks miles better than that horrible black thing the factory send out, something else to polish.
Ginner.

Pheonix-I spun out in my Tuscan over Xmess and have bought a T350. Its a brilliant car-handling and grip a definite leap forward ,build and finish better than my S.The only compromise I have noticed so far ( after only three weeks admitedly) are it feels a bit smaller in the cabin and the back end still looks a bit pinched to me -these are frankly trivial.
I get the car back from Barnet tomorrow after they have given it its 1000 mile service so I can now start to gently ease up the revs and get to explore more of the cars performance.....Seem to have taken next week of as well with nothing planned, silly me.
Can't wait!!!
P.S. The only faults on the car was an error code 137 for the aircon-apparantly this is common and the rear hatch trim at the top of the glass was a bit loose-everything else was fine

When Power fitted mine they had to do a mod to get it onto my Tuscan S pipes

When TVR Power fitted mine, Dom had to cut out part of the rear diffuser to get the exhausts to fit!
Hmmm, think I'll be getting the garage to do it.

needless to say it sounds awesome.
I'm looking forward to hearing it in the flesh. I may even end up getting the momo steering wheel while I'm there!

I hate the momo steering wheel myself, looks like something out of the max power mag, but if you really want it it's only six alen bolts. My granny could fit it whilst having a break from her nitting.
Now that does worry me! So is ginner you new name then hilti? Do you want the register amending?
Maddog,
Have 2 logons, one a work and one at home? Register is correct at Hilti. As you may have guessed, used to have red hair, before all this TVR high speed exitment turned my hair grey.
How do you amend your profile on the register, need to add a few extra bits to my mods to car?

Aha, a frequently asked question! Seams to me we have all gone upgrade crazy. Just ping us an email and I will amend it, it was too complex to give you a logon as I think we all have enough of those!
