Bond mini car by the looks of it

The Californian is a good shout, but I think the roofline is wrong. The Oxford was often found with 2-tone paint and the shape seems more like the puzzle car. I also note that it has what appears to be a colour-coded sun visor (Oz style) which was a popular accessory of the period, along with portholes on the front wings and mudflaps. How things have changed with mapping, stanced wheels and stretched tyres etc. - those were simpler times.

Here's a bond for sale. I recall they could be started by a kick-starter located under the bonnet !

IIRC some used kick start, others either newer or the delux version, had electric start which was also reverse.http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C810790

I think you're right...the Oxford had slightly more rake to the windscreen than the Californian, and if you compare the mystery car to the Minx in the shot it would appear there is a little more rake......john2443 said:
