Roads from Hell

I live in Occupied North Berkshire and I've often thought that the A34 between the M40 and the M4 was one of the worst roads in the country.

But in the last month I have had to get the ferry to Holland from Harwich. The last ten miles or so to Harwich ferry port is total and unmitigated ste. How do they get away with it?

Got to feel it for the lorry drivers that go to Harwich often because the A14 is usually awful too.
