Currently in Dubai in a hotel with a well known watch dealer having a shop in the lobby.
I've just bought pre price increase a Rhodium dial YM , I made an enquiry about the same and he used an artificially high exchange rate which came in at £9.5 k and without prompting offered to nett it down to £8.5k
Bearing in mind assuming being honest enough to declare it would add another 20% to the price paid , surely that rules out anyone buying in the Emirates ?
He had a good selection of SS sports in stock , never saw or asked about the new Daytona though.
Just thought it might help someone make their mind up in the future.
