What spec should I have on my 570s
Discussion
Hi guys I have ordered my new 570s and there is a bewildering spec choice. The spec I want it's still adding £30k inc vat on the list.
I have looking at
Design addition pack 4
Interior carbon
carbon mirrors
carbon side skirts
8 speaker audio
Security pack
Sports exhaust
MSO black roof
What is a good spec ??

well you have chosen the best interior by miles so you are on to a good start, I would add painted brake calliper's, soft close doors, Tracker, Battery charger, stealth wheel finish, sports wheels job done
I have all of those too!
trying to justify the cost as it's racking up and will it assist in residual value.

It's for me ! Not sure what you mean by next owner?
Some people spec cars for themselves - it is clear from many threads here that lots of cars are spec'd only with a view to resale ie the next owner - your query 'what is a good spec' suggested the latterPS might the sports exhaust & 8 speaker stereo be considered contradictory ?

Also at only £600 they are a McLaren bargain

I've doing similar thinking.
As far as I can tell the only 100% must haves that I can find are the security pack and tracker. I can't find a Sport Series without these (not that I am trying to find one ) and every dealer I have spoken to says these are the must get.
Soft close doors, coloured calipers and a non black only standard interior seem the next most popular

Have what YOU want !
If you are spending that much money on a car why short change yourself. £26k in options is nothing on a Supercar.
No need to go silly but if you go basic spec you will be compromising and it will be harder to sell on and the price will also reflect that ( Not by £26k granted but without the options it will be £10k cheaper so you are losing an extra £16k over say 3 years)
If that's your train of thought you are almost better going billy basic spec altogether

I just ordered a 570s with more than £30k of options! Ooops!!
See!

The best pack to get is the Track Pack. You save £10,000 versus ordering the components separately and it's a monster pack with acres of carbon, sports exhaust, palladium roof etc.
I just ordered my 570S and I only added the Track Pack, Security Pack, Elite Paint and a few orange bits. Came to £28K in options but I saved about £13k versus ordering discrete parts.
