Sound bar/ base for 22" tv.

Just purchased a Samsung 22" Smart HD TV and the sound isn't great but then I didn't think it would be. Are there any audio systems available that would fit under or just behind it that anyone can recommend? Don't want to spend more than £100. Most sound bar/bases are far too large for the space I have access to.
