Okay, so reading this forum it appears that the Typhon supercharged powerplant is generating too much heat - hence the delay. However this doesn't explain the lack of T400/T440's on the road (I know there's one). Anyone know the reason for this, are they holding back to launch the T400/T440/Typhon together, is there a lack of orders on the non supercharged cars?

Surely they could get the T400/T440 out there...

I don't think anyone actually wants one, everyone ordered the Typhon.

If I could afford them, I would go for the T440R, lots of power but not more than you need, as with the Typhon. Could be that the prices make the Typhon better to go for, or the bragging rights.

I believe that they were considered to be over priced with a shoddy cheapskate interior, TVR could not justify the high price tag for a second rate car. Also their engineers are leaving by the droves so that there is no-one to continue the work.
