Which thermos flask
Discussion
I've got an original 'thermos' flask - it keeps liquids hot for a few hours. Boiling water filled to the top will still be warm 10 hours later. If the flask is only half filled then expect it to cool down a lot quicker.
To make the flask keep liquids hot longer, you need to pre-warm the flask, then fill to top.

Another vote for an original Thermos. Mines out with me on a building site all day in temperatures from -2 to +3 and it's still warm at the end of the work day.
EDIT. Just checked and it's actually a Thermos work series model.
This exact one.....

I have the same make as well, problem is I find them an awkward shape (tall and thin) when filling from coffee machines - they wont fit under. Still have a stainless steel travel mug from starbucks with a clip close lid as opposed to those ones with the slider that are worse than useless, pretty much switched back to the old Starbucks mug. http://www.costco.co.uk/view/p/avex-thermal-mugs-2...

I have one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thermos-Stainless-Steel-U...
May be a bit big (900ml) for you if you're considering a travel mug but it's the best flask I've had.

I have a LifeVenture flask:

I got it because:
- It looks like an artillery shell
- It looks like the sort of thing the SAS might bring their hot chocolate in while on secret missions
Had it for years - works well and keeps things hot for a long time.
Sadly the current model has quite colourful text on the side.

I had one of them, I took to the fishing. Excellent. Broke my heart when I dropped it and broke it into a million pieces.Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
