The best £15 I ever spent

My black 1600 had the old style bonnet hinges (Hillman Imp???) which were well past their best. I'd drilled them and put stainless bolts through but on reflection that was a waste of time. It occurred to me that the noisiest thing on the car was the rattly bonnet.
So I spent £11.50 with Emsworth (£8.50 + p&p) on the stainless hinges they supply and some more on 8of 25mmxM6 stainless bolts, nyloc nuts and "penny" washers and the difference is amazing. It's surprising what you get accustomed to and only realise the difference when it stops.
What's the next thing I should spend £15 on???

We always convert any Jago we work on over to the stainless hinges to ensure no rattles and full opening of bonnet and also boot on the sammie.
