Peugeot Partner clock - doing my head in!
Discussion
New (old) work van needs the clock setting.
It has 2 buttons on the speedo - tried all combinations from google search nothing is doing it.
I see mentioned somewhere that the factory radio is required, this van has aftermarket (its how we roll) but still not sure if that's the case given the clock is on the speedo and the speedo has the 2 buttons... anyone know its doing my head in!
Thanks!

Apparently you now need to use the steering wheel/stalk controls,
Quick google suggests that you may need to buy an adapter based on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVMVRTgWN3U
I believe it's something like this you need.
Alternatively, disconnect the battery and reconnect it at 12:00

Thread revival because it s that time of year again. Like many PHers it seems to fall to me to reset the clocks on quite a few cars in the extended family and sometimes for a neighbour. Why is it usually (to be fair) so difficult? It seems that I need a PhD from Harvard. After all on the now ancient Metros, and I think the Rover 214 (Honda clone) there were 2 buttons H and M to press. Just H if the mins were already accurate. And the problem with Google, as mentioned earlier is that there is some accurate advice on it, but also a lot of bullsht.

I used to hate having to set the analogue clock in our Ford Mondeo. The sole adjustment control was a push-button that advanced the time by one minute. Holding the button caused continuous and accelerating advancement until it was released. Going a minute or two over the target time, therefore, required winding the clock all the way round, i.e. advancing eleven hours, to get back to the target hour in which the minutes could be set. The same went for moving the clock back in autumn.
Most annoying one I remember was a c.2010 Nissan Qashqai with the optional infotainment / nav system. The clock on the infotainment and the one on the instrument cluster were separate, didn't speak to each other, weren't synchronised via CAN bus etc . You had to physically set them in 2 different menus.
Still love the one on our old lexus UX - analog clock which would sweep the hands as you set it forward / backward at clock change. Swish.
