Hi all, please bear with me here, been a long time lurker but nows the time to put my questions out there! Just bought a new a4 and can't quite work out the auto handbrake. Sometimes when I stop the car by turning the ignition off, it comes on automatically. Other times it doesn't. Seems there's no rhyme nor reason to this as it can happen on my drive one time then not the next. Does anyone know why this is?

Also, the MMI..... so the car comes with a SIM card which loads up nicely to give me google maps as sat nav, weather, local attractions and petrol prices etc but when I try to run Spotify or the Audi MMI app to get internet radio, it doesn't connect. Says it is connected to my car on my phone but it only works if I turn off the wifi on the phone and use my data. Surely it should work thru the same data service that powers google maps etc or am I just being daft? Thanks

What year's the car, and does is have Hill Hold Assist (HHA)? (Button next to parking brake button on B8's, guess it;s similar on B9)

Not sure if it's the same on the new A4s, but I think the parking brake only comes on automatically if you have HHA switched on.

Can't help with the MMI question at all.

You can't use the sim for streaming services it is only for services provided by Audi (pois, traffic, nav features etc)

You will need to use your own phone and your own data for Spotify etc. You can't realistically expect Audi to cough up the data cost for streaming several gig of music every month?

Thanks, from what I'm told it's free for 3 months then a subscription so 'realistically' I thought it might work for streaming etc.
