Applied for a credit card do you think I got approved?

I applied for a credit card online it was supposed to be an instant decision but I got an e mail saying sorry we cant give you an instant decision and we will write to you with a decision in 10 working days.

After 5 days I got a letter asking for proof of id, proof of address(Bank Statement,Council Tax, Utility Bill) etc.

Its about 13 days since I applied online and I sent them the documents a few days back.

Do you think its approved? I personally think if it was going to be a rejection then they would have just sent the rejection letter instead of asking for documents.

What do you think?

I applied with them in the past a few years ago and back then I got the rejection letter in the post.

Sounds like to me that they couldn't electronically verify your ID & Address (are you on the electoral roll etc) and require the physical documents to verify your details....
