Not impressive. It's just someone who knows a few 'clever' words showing off. No different to those cringeworthy 'complaint letters' you often see published. They might impress plebs with no vocabulary skills, they just make me cringe. This one isn't even that good.
The author should try answering the point in instead of showing off.

I was accused of being poor because I have no concept of the BMW E model numbers and what they pertain to.
eg, my thoughts were, why can't someone just say they have a 2009 530 diesel. But oh no it always has to be an "E349856490875023096" (I have made these numbers up)
Personally I think its generally because someone won't admit the age of their car, so they'd rather the reader think they have a vehicle from an approximate 10 year model range, at a guess.
