Does it need to be in Salisbury itself?

There is a very good transport cafe on the A36 (approx 14 miles outside Salisbury toward Warminster)

If you are looking for somewhere in Salisbury a quick google will bring up so many it will be difficult to choose

Bill's (36 Blue Boar Row) is a decent choice in my experience.
There are a few places in Salisbury, but on a recent trip with a couple of fussy buggers this went down well after a few other places were rejected as looking rough or too poncey...
Used to be The Chough pub btw.
