Hi Keith
I found this in the cupboard of doom...Let me know if its of any use and I will box it up and send it you.
The plugs were cut off when I bought it but no biggie....
Come to think about it I did send another out a while back and might explain what UPS have been emailing me about...
...Cant remember who asked me for it...?

Hi Mark, yep that looks the right part. Mine has a different steel plate but I'm sure the indicator/clamp bit unscrews. I have tried a few times with epoxy and various bits of plastic to repair mine but as soon as I apply any pressure the bond breaks.I found this in the cupboard of doom...Let me know if its of any use and I will box it up and send it you.

Let me know how many beer tokens and I can transfer you some dosh. Cheers muchly.
If it is this one: MINI INDICATOR SWITCH TYPE 163SA O.E. BAU5345 LUCAS SQB115 then the inner diameter of the clamp is about 5 mm to small.
I used a dremel like drill with a square milling cutter to make it fit. Messy but possible.
You also have to adapt the wiring a bit and the switch contacts for the dip and main beam.
If you go this route I can send you a description of what I did to make it work on my 1987 350i.

Thanks for this. Mark has posted his spare one so hopefully with a new multiblock it should sort me out. Many thanks.I used a dremel like drill with a square milling cutter to make it fit. Messy but possible.

I think the other one was posted to me,
Still need to get round to taking it all apart to see what bits I need to change to make a nicer Aluminum version.
Ahhh thats right...Thanks Leigh...I did wonder as I keep getting a UPS email saying that they have a parcel that weighs 1kg at their depot that never got delivered, The only other thing I posted off was a plenum and trumpet base, Bit more than 1kg me thinks...Still need to get round to taking it all apart to see what bits I need to change to make a nicer Aluminum version.

Probably a scamming tw@
