Looking at a classic M3 that has been a insurance loss
Discussion
Hi there
Looking for the general view out there.
Looking at a classic M3 that at some point in its life has been a insurance loss. However the car has had a lot of work done on it since then and restoration work carried out to a high standard.
Thinking of keeping the car for some time and quite a difference in price. Does it really matter at this age of car?
I get the feeling a lot of classics out there have been through the wars but never get registered for damage anyway.

With prices for cars as they are presently I think this could be a good way to get in one without loosing your shirt. Not only that but if you haven't paid a King's randsom for one then you could justify using the car more which is ultimately why one should be bought in the first place.
If the car is right, repaired properly and priced right then I don't see an issue. Obviously with the caveat that it won't be as desirable to some compared to a no story car.
Please post up some pics and details when it's bought
