Hi all,

I don't often post pictures, as my photography is often quite lacking - but was lucky enough to see the northern lights while working in Sweden for a week.

There's far better Aurora pictures out there, but very pleased to have been able to get a couple of photos:

Every night was cloudy except my last night there, and it was very feint and brief - the locations I went that night where a little lacking, just jumped in car to get out of town and find somewhere dark. There was a thick band of it stretching from horizon to horizon, right overhead, which slowly moved through the sky until it went behind the tree line.

Where were you in Sweden ?

Would love to see the lights but I've only ever visited in summer, when it's hardly dark at all.

I had to look up where that is,stupid phone map made it look like it was on arctic circle but not that close.

I did go quite close to there in 2015.
