Lovely looking motor.

Don't know anything about it, but I discovered yesterday that jacking the car up on one side lets you get a great view behind the wheels. Might be worth asking him/her to do that for you.

Just had a good chat with the guy who owns it... sounds pretty solid. Has anyone heard of enginuity? they have done most of the work on the car.

Also it has done 79,000 miles with not much done to the engine... to be safe for ragging around on a daily basis, would there be any major bits to check?

Also good news is the car didn't put him off... he wants a chimaera

These Ford engines are pretty bulletproof, oil pressure should be about 50psi over 2500 revs

Indeed I have, they are an outfit in Acton/Chiswick who specialise in fettling Triumps and TVRs (mainly Rover V8 engined).
Great bunch of blokes who know their stuff.

The mechanics are probably fine , but as already said check the chasis particularly the outriggers and the swinging arms , ask the vendor what he has done about the maintainance ie waxoyl etc .Good luck !
