I can't see a photo of you at Rockingham on the posting, the only blue car is pointing in the right direction! Also it appears to be in the front but we all know how photos can distort the truth!
Happy motoring.

2nd row of the grid, centre, behind the titanium car, clean and looking quite blue. eg ThatPhilBrettyGuy "spotted" post.

First outing with an M400 gearbox linkage which was very impressive and meant I knew which gear I was in.

Unfortunately didn't help with overall speed judging by the number of overtakes; not that you would recognise this symptom!!!

How was lotus/Donnington for you?

Mind letting me know how much the linkage upgrade cost and whether you think it was worth it? Was it installed whilst doing other work that involved having the engine out?

Hi Dan.

I've always had problems with the 3R gearbox, I had a 6 speed box from new, was able to change into 2nd from 3rd whilst accelerating hard, hence decided to do something about it before I did any damage to the engine.

I tried an M400 gearchange whilst at the factory previously and realised it was the answer. The car went into the factory for it's service before Rockingham, I had the work done at the same time.

It's made a huge difference, gears are easier to engage and you know where they are. It'a "snick" "snick" affair now.

Bob Sharpe at the factory can let you know the price (it's a standard price based on hours labour/ parts), but it was less than £2k incl VAT for mine.

Conclusion: major improvement making the car a joy to drive.

For 2K I would want somebody to change gear for me! Do they make an automatic? Perhaps that is the answer for you.
Best wishes

PS Good picture, 2nd row of the grid, well done.
