It would probably work out cheaper if you bought the parts new from Porsche than to buy anything from Dermot. wink

That's putting it mildly, though I stopped dealing with him a few years back.

Does anyone know if the plastic side vent trims are switchable between Cayman R and Box Spyder?

Out of curiosity did you ask how much they sold for?

Nope no point but about 3.5-4k is right price depending on condition - thats all i'd pay anyway and lose heated seating on my dd so not that bothered but nice things to have. make the car feel so much more special. Not an option when I specced mine back in 2006 - came out a few years later.

Show me a decent price at that pair and I'll buy 'em I !!! Cameron Cars sold an immaculate set out of a CR on Ebay late last year, they fetched close to £5.5k they told me.
I paid 3.5k for an immaculate pair to replace the CGT seats in my Gen 1 997 back in 2011. And whilst they appear on Rennlist fairly frequently, they cost well in excess of £3.5/4k on there :

And even though they're not heavy (as seats go), they ain't light ! Shipping from The States would be a PITA (and expensive) plus there'd be import duty to pay, it all starts to look cheaper to buy off your OPC or Gert ! !

Bit more expensive due to GBP tanking but these can be order exclusive of vat through a biz. 6.6k GBP new and thats before haggling. I know a few people who have got hold of these used between 3.5 and 4k not all that long ago. They sell quick as you know. There's even a heated version out now I think

Was thinking about selling my white 2011 Spyder this summer, done 13k It manual, has buckets and Spyder wheels. I reckon it's worth around 40k, this topic got me thinking is it worth selling off the buckets and wheels on a px basis to get a few grand then selling the car for say 35k with the wrong seats/wheels?
