The key to bitcoin pricing in the short to medium term will always be fundamental factors like regulatory changes & blue chip adoption. If you can predict those then you have a very good crystal ball

Bitcoin is far too volatile to suggest what may happen in 2017. As many people will predict it to hit $500 as will predict $1500. It only seems to take a few good news days to send it up, but likewise a few bad days and its tanking. Bitcoin did well in 2016, I have some money tied up in Bitcoin so hope it does well. But the idea that anyone can suggest $1500 is crazy at the moment.
