M2 drivetrain issue
Discussion
Hi
Did you resolve this? I have the4 same issue - just went today, says Drivetrain - Possible to continue journey - but has gone into limp mode. shudders. vibrates, drives like missing on cylinders. Have read that if you stop car and wait for 30 mins it will resolve - but not happy with that! I want to know what the issue is and get fixed under warranty!

not an expert, so don't shoot me, but it sounds like an airflow meter issue - this is what used to happen on my E39 M5 when the MAFs needed doing. it would splutter and then be on safety mode. A full reset of the car (switch off power down) would clear the fault, but it would persist until changed.
I'm probably wrong, but interested to hear.
If this is the case, a replaced set of Mass Airflow sensors will make the car very brisk indeed !
Hopefully you get to the bottom of it and the car is well.
