3 Owners, 2000 car, GTS Viper blue.......

Well as most of you will have now read my spam, Im still looking.....
What are your thoughts on a 2000, 3 Owner car with 11,500 miles? Dealer supplied. Its a 4.5 "lightweight" GTS blue, I like blues, and love black interiors ;-) Its a way from me, but would be prepared to drive to it this weekend. Its just 3 owners on an 11000 miler? (I know Cerbs are mostly 2nd/3rd cars) do you really worry about how many owners a TVR has had? I could pay another grand and get a one owner with the same miles, just not sure im keen on the color of that one.
I like the look of this 3 owner one, and its got a FTVRSH.

I wouldnt worry about number of owners - condition and maintenance is all The miles are a bit too low in my opinion. Suggests not quite enough use. It is a 4/5 yr old TVR so I would expect LOADS of history. I would still look for new brakes, exhaust, tyres etc...
With ultra low miles I would ensure the car hsa still been serviced per date (rather than miles) reqs.

Look at air con - if it has been used abroad in a hot country (?) then air con might have had a hammering and costs a fortune to fix.

Ok, I've been assured the car has never left the country. And yes it is low mileage, but then quite a few of the ones around Im looking at are for 4-5 years old.

This is the one for sale with TVR Mads isn't it. Looks a nice car to me but it has been for sale for quite a while which I don't understand. I bought my first Cerb from James B and apart from a few niggles it was a great car. I got a warranty with mine which sorted the niggles so no complaints really.
I would definitely take a look, distance doesn't matter if it's the right car. If the history shows that it's been standing still for a while (look at mileage on MOT's)I'd ask for a service to be included in the price for peace of mind. Joospeed isn't too far away either.

So your experience with James sounds positive, no issues? I will question why its been available for so long.
