Broken Panoramic Roof. Anyone else?

Hi all
we have a C350e with Panoramic roof.
Whilst driving along we closed the sunroof section and the rear glass roof 'popped' upwards and broke.
I think this may be a design fault (pressure build up in car when roof closed) as currently there are no roofs available to order as a replacement.
Has anyone else experienced this?
