Hello,

please excuse me I am completely new to this. I have been researching the new Audi A5 and came across a discussion on here but it was from 2013. Just wondering if anyone has driven the new 2017 Audi A5 5 Door and what their thoughts are on it. Looking to Lease one and my local dealer doesn't have a demo

Have they got the new A4 available for demo? I'd imagine they'll be almost identical to drive, the A5 will just be less practical.

It's the Sportswagon not the Coupe we are looking at, I have the A4 at the moment I'm hoping the New A5 is a bit better but I do only have the 1.4TFSi Sport model and the A5 I'm looking at is the 2.0 Tdi Ultra

Why less practical? I've got an old shape A5 sportback, the boot is much better than the A4.

I have literally just ordered the new a5 a few weeks ago.
I went for the coupe with the 2.0 tdi ultra engine.
The only one they had I could test drive was the 140bhp tdi in auto when I'm going for a manual.
Felt really good big step up car wise for me currently have the 1.6 tdi a1 so quite a bit more powerful but did feel a lot nicer to drive. My test drive was only 15- 20 mins so not the longest.

Roughly the same size, but with (in sportback form) much better boot access in the A5. The A4 boot was (is?) very hard to get sensible sized objects into because it has a v small opening.
