Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has been offered any good rates on the NEW 2017 Golf yet? I know the rates have only been launhed today. I was looking at an Audi A5 but I have been offered a deal on the £170 a month on the New VW Golf 1.6 SE Nav 5 Door £1533 upfront then 23 x £170 for 8000 miles a year. Problem is I'm looking and I can't really tell which ones the new ones are and which ones the old MK7 are, perhaps I should leave it a bit as I was offered the above deal but it is not on their website yet as they don't even have the cap codes for it yet

The SE was replaced by the match around 2 years ago on the mk7 golf so if you are being priced for an SE I would assume it's for the new 2107 model

Yeah It is the new SE Model just trying to find the best deal on it, suppose I will have to wait a few days for them to all be loaded I think pricing only came out today

When are you hoping to get it? I've seen comments that dealers are telling people leadtime is 6 months.

I didn't follow it closely so this might not be exactly right but apparently there was a launch offer with a hefty discount that's just finished but no-one could actually order a car!

I've found a few a deal and they have cars coming through for March delivery I'm not sure whether to look at the 1.0 or the 1.6 engine, wondering what the 1.0 would be like, I suppose it would be the same as the Audi A3 1.0TFSi engine which I have driven and is fine!

It is the same engine in largely the same car. I'm sure it will be very similar.
