Bushing material for slicks

I don't really want to go to the trouble of retrofitting rose joints to a new Ultima GTR I just purchased, as the car will be used on the road as well as the track.

I would like to run slicks on the track. Has anyone had successful experience with different types of bushing compounds to allow for use of slicks? Is polyurethane rigid enough?

Can road-legal DOT slicks be used with the standard suspension or do they also place too much load on the bushings?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm glad to hear you found a GTR. The factory also has a new spec of bushings so you may want to check with them. Good Luck and welcome to the club.
