Mercedes C + E Class (Estate) 2001-2007 - Owner Reviews

Morning all,

Looking for some honest reviews from owners of the Mercedes C + E Class (Estate) 2001-2007.

Primarily I am looking at this car as a work horse (transporting building materials etc), but also as a family car as I have 2 children and we holiday in the UK. I am not going to be spending a fortune on the car, so will be looking at the cheaper end of the market.

I have seen really good reviews online for reliability etc, but its always best to speak to real people to see what their actual experiences are.

If any owners (or previous owners could give any detail regarding:

• Current milage (or milage they had on a previously owned car)
• Any major issues they have come across
• Known issues for these models (if not experienced yourself personally)
• MPG's for town driving
• If there are any "Big" services at certain miles (For example my RRS had a 10 year service which involved EVERYTHING and cost £1k).

All inputs greatly appreciated.
