Marketing email

These group emails for a 'marketing opportunity' usually at a local motel etc, what's in it for the people concerned?. Do they get a cut from the takings etc? Is it a front for making on the tea and food? I get loads of emails every week.

As a wild guess... money?

Don't know exactly what 'opportunities' you're talking about but if it's a free talk or seminar they'll be selling a book, training course, networking group or something else. If it's MLM they'll be selling a 'business'.

If it's a paid event with a couple of speakers @ £500 and they get 100 people in on £99 'change your life' tickets, even £49 tickets, well you can see where there's money.

In short, money.
