Got up at 6.30, fed the dawg and took it for a walk round our fields. Sun was warm on me mug at 7.00, the bluebells and anemones are just beginning to poke through, the primroses are in full swing along our stream, the willows are bursting into bud and the flowering cherries are starting to bloom.

Being a mile off the road all I could hear was birds twittering in the trees & woods and the stream gurgling happily along. No cars, no planes, no Tony Bliar.

It's days like this that you realise what a beautiful country England (sorry Great Britain ) is.

If Two Jags gets his way no doubt I can stand at the top of me hill in a few years and tell my kids "I remember when this was all just fields & woods"

It's a special time of day isn't it?

I'm lucky, my job means I get to see it most of the year. Strange how you can be absolutely knackered, and still want to go for a walk.

Enjoy!

I shall be making pointless detours on my way to the bank and post office today. It would seem churlish not to.

It's a beautiful day in Northampton too. Perfect day for taking out my lovely new car which I picked up yesterday.

Except the kids are at home so I can't . I'll just have to pop her on the drive and look at her.

It is a great day over here too. Mainly because I'll be on the boat to Blighty this evening. The luxobarge is going bahnstorming this afternoon so I can sit on the deck with a G&T.

Very nice Penny! Now we need some pickies of it with the roof down, and from the front! A perfect day for it!

Walked from Russel Square to Pall Mall this morning, cool but not cold, clear blue sky, sun is shining, it's going to be a very nice day.

I really enjoy walking alongside the canal (grand union, uxbridge) in the middle of winter first thing in the morning.

Been thinking of finding some dogs to walk to give me an excuse to do it more often.
