Odd, I hadn't noticed this before! I'll send it on to the techies to see if we can see an issue.

Cheers!

Has anyone pointed this one out?

e.g. This post starting with "Home Office".

Click the quote button and the H is clipped in the reply text.
Hi 0000, thanks for your feedback. I've taken a look at this issue. When clicking "quote", the normal process is that the entire post you are quoting is manipulated to ensure that all the previous quotes are stripped away, to only leave the post of the person you are trying to quote. However, when it does this, it is sometimes nabbing the first letter of the post you are quoting. This seems to only affect quoting where there are exactly 2 previous quotes to strip away, like in the example you have given. A bit bizarre. I'll add it to the list of the things for the development team to fix.

o, that's not part of it.

I suspect it happens when there's no line break / whitespace immediately after the closing quote and before following reply text. e.g. this post.
Yep!

Strange world where users figure that out all ahead of our masterful 12 strong Dev team. biggrin

Yep, looks like you're right! I'll update our bug ticket for this.

Thanks,

I added in a CRLF

It's been around for years, but gave up trying to work out what it was - is it that simple wobble
