Hi all,

I spotted this 280 and had to spin around for a little look.

I noticed on the front it was badged as a 280R. I can't find any information on such a model? The R appears to be in the same font as in the TVR logo. Is it an actual model or has someone made it up?

You can see the logo in this image I managed to find of the same car someone else has taken

Great looking car either way.

Do you think it's 4WD too?

Love the early fixed heads and this one is simply gorgeous a nice color and those alloy wheels look so good on it, the owner looks to have spent a lot of time polishing and getting the car in great shape its a credit to him getting it back on the road looking like new.

Other than the badging I could only find one issue. Check the tailpipes.

IMHO just the owner getting on the act that almost all Jap and some German cars have a 'type R' derivative rolleyes :handshandysmiley:
Probably also explains the silly cutaway rear valance.
Blingin', innit... not.
Another example of why fannying about with these cars is likely to see their prices staying in the realms of banger material.
