Before you fit them and then complain, Daz, they are somewhat more dusty than some other pads on the market.
They also cost a fair bit more too, and can usually only be bought from race specialists.
IIRC, my last set of rear DS2500s were about £95.
Correct me, anyone, if i am remembering wrongly.

Do the DS2500's work well from cold, or do they need to get heat into them before they will work properly?

The pad is the same for both the (factory) vented and solid disc set up. The callipers are the same other than the one for vented discs has a wider jaw to, oddly enough, allow for the wider vented disc.
