Patella/pre patella Bursitis , experience?

Fell badly on my Knee (ironically my strong one!) back in November , it ached like buggery if I knelt on it, but not during movement and no visible bruising

Was still hurting a bit if I knelt on it recently, then during a Pilates class I knelt on it for a stretch and its like bloody mush, big fluid cushion on it last Monday

Saw the Dr on Friday, he diagnosed Bursitis ,couldn't be sure if it was on the patella or prepatellar, since then it seems to be getting worse and impeding movement a bit

Anyone had it before, any tips? Had a bout a year of discomfort on my other knee, just as that is better my good knee dies on me!

I have bursitis in my left hip. I had a pain killing injection but that only worked for a few weeks.

You should probably look at getting some physio.
