I need to remove a bottle from a Water cooler. Complication being that it's not empty....

Any vaguely sensible suggestions?

Should have a self-sealing valve for that very reason. Just yank it off, see what happens smile

Ours went the fritz a few weeks ago, Technician sent to work on it said there's no easy way - you can spend an age letting out the water via the tap, or grab hold of it and move quickly, which is what he did. Made very little mess.

Lay the cooler down onto a towel then pull the cooler upwards at a slight angle whilst someone holds the bottle.

Should maybe, don't though - ours at least didn't.

If it's somewhere that can stand a bit of a splash, just lift it off quickly and flip it over, you'll only lose a half a cup or so. I've done it at work to pinch some water for my screenwash when the outside tap was frozen.

They have self sealing valves on the bottles. As long as you get the bottles replaced by a supplier the valve will be there. If someone refills it at your work you will get wet feet.
