Black and Silver Numberplate supplier

Looking for a recommendation for a company to make a set of acrylic black and silver plates

Out of interest seeing so many different style of black and silver like acrylic and then pressed aluminium and the real old style white plastic letters bolted into a steel plate etc. Is there some kind of guide somewhere around which kind of plates a car should really wear based on it age?
