Macan GTS spec

Speccing a GTS to replace the M3, and if I go ahead it needs to be done asap.
So could someone run their eye over this spec please?
This will be a daily for the Mrs so I think I've covered the basics, don't really need too many fripperies...
Anything to omit / add?
A bit confused over the seats - are the standard GTS sports seats electric?
Also, nav - she doesn't possess a smart phone (horrors!) so I assume the Connect is a waste of money?

Standard GTS seats are 8 way electric (no memory). Adding 14 comfort or 18 way seats gives you more adjustments plus comfort entry.

Having just looked over your spec these would be my personal comments.
Seats - personally I would not go for the comfort seat as this takes the seats back to the basic macan. The standard seats are identical to the sports seats they just have less adjustment.
I opted for the standard seats as I found the metal in the base bolsters overly firm especially when getting in and out of the car. I did also spec the memory pack.
Have you considered the LED main headlights - firstly these look much better but they also perform much better not to mention on every other Porsche this is a £1500 plus option, while on the macan gts its only £465.
As you are specing the memory pack you might want to add the auto dipping mirrors as well, otherwise I don't believe the memory pack remembers them so you will need to reset each time. (I would suggest checking this with your OPC).
You don't appear to have park assist with the camera (£332) as this is a daily this might be a sensible option as I think the standard system is rear sensors only.
My final comment would be your dotn have sports chrono - now whilst this is not an essential its quite rare for a GTS model to not have this and that may affect resales.
If you have a dog then the one option I would also defiantely add is the loadspace management system - this includes a guard net that can be used with the seats up or down and also includes an additional floor mat and adjustable bar to hold luggage in place (this can be removed).

I'm due to take delivery of my Macan GTS in March. How you spec yours is a personal decision. Unless you're planning on going off roading then the standard PASM is adequate. Either of the reversing cameras is a must. I've opted for the 18 way sports seats with the memory pack but the 8 way sports would suffice. The sunroof is a popular choice when it comes to reselling. Connect / connect plus is worthwhile getting if you've an iPhone, if you've an android phone then you probably won't need it. As mentioned previously LED lights are another good addition. The sports design mirrors are another nice touch. You could go on & on but at the end of the day whether you spend £60k or £70k you'll still end up with a great car
Think I'd take off the air suspension and add in possibly the pano roof, and rear camera.
Would like the LED lights, but for me the bi-xenons are fine and I want to keep the cost down.
Sport chrono a waste of money for us tbh.
Not sure about the wheels though - I like the RS style but not black - would love them to be satin platinum.

I had a Macan GTS as a courtesy car while mine was having some work done. I'm always very respectful of cars lent to me so the first day I kept the speed sensible. I had to drop back in to the dealer and they asked me my opinion. I said nice car but not over whelming. They gave my s
t for driving it like an OAP. So, I left the dealer and thought I would try it out properly. As I entered the high way a new 911 turbo and an M3 flew passed me. This is where my opinion changed completely. I have no doubt the 911 wasn't at 100% but I was in the GTS. This is the point though. As I was trying I was having more fun than the turbo.
My wife's next car will be a Macan GTS. (ETA I drive my wife's car 5 days a week and my own 2 days)
My question, is the Macan GTS as quick as an M3? In my example above the BMW backed off because he reached his exit.
Oh, options. No idea.
Finally, for comparison, I have a 2013 NA cayenne GTS. I still like the NA feel and noise.

I agree if pushed the thing really moves and feels very planted.
We recently purchased a new Macon gts as we felt it it ticked all the boxes as a everyday family car. We also own a macan s diesel which we have had for over two years. Once we drove the gts we realised how much smoother and in our opinion 'better' the petrol really is. The macan diesel is going up for sale pretty soon.

I owned a m3 v8 for a very short time around 3 years ago. Wasn't impressed, it didn't feel planted and the auto box was dreadful compared to the Porsche PDK box. All in my opinion mind, sold it after 3 months. When looking to buy the Macan Gts I also looked at the new m3. But quickly decided against it as the salesman was full of s**t.
