Ebay/paypal problem

Evening all

on the 26th Jan, I purchased an item for £130 + £12 p+p on Ebay, £142 in total. By Jan 31st, it had become clear from messages, that the seller couldn't post for another week, so I chose to cancel the order, thinking I'd be refunded straight away on Paypal. The seller did process a refund on the 31st, but for the last week, it has been pending and then when I logged in to check today, it said cancelled. Am I right in thinking the seller cancelled the refund? They are saying they didn't, and I have now opened a dispute with Ebay. Can anyone shed any light on what might have happened please?

I also have 2 other payments pending that should have come back into my account, could I have done anything wrong or have I missed an update or something?

How did you fund payment? Through a card? I assume, it's still valid.

Yeah, paid on debit card, though when I spoke to Ebay tonight, and he tried to validate the card I used, the last four numbers he gave were my bank account number.
